Having lost touch for nearly 50 years it is so sad to have found Dave again in this memorial but the descriptions of Dave's humour and infectious laugh bring happy memories of playing and singing with him  !

I vividly remember Dave's delight on returning after the first term break in showing his new car , apparently his Dad had swapped an unused fertiliser spreader for a Fiat 500 at the local garage and it had made the trip to college without any trouble !

I hope where ever he is he has his guitar with him !
