David had a big love of folk and acoustic music that lasted a lifetime. Playing the guitar and singing in folk clubs from
his early teens, he always loved the opportunity for a sing-song at gatherings
with family and friends. He spent most
of his waking hours singing, and could learn to play any song by ear.
